Óscar Palacio participates in INTERSICOP 2024 with a presentation on innovation in the ice cream parlor

Last February 18, our master ice cream maker Óscar Palacio was participating in some presentations on innovation in the ice cream parlor, which were held at IFEMA Madrid, more specifically within the activities organized by INTERSICOP 2024, the community of sectors such as bakery, pastry, and of course, ice cream. In addition, Óscar, delighted those present with live preparations, presenting gastronomic proposals full of magic, innovation and flavors.

For Óscar, ice creams are much more than desserts , and this is what he tried to convey to those present in the presentations. The possibilities are endless and ice cream is not conceived only as a dessert, but it is a cold texture that is more within the possibilities that a chef has to incorporate into his dishes, you have to open your mind to develop these proposals.

Óscar Palacio is the Master Ice Cream Maker of the Helados Palacio company, a family business founded in 1994 by his parents in the Alicante town of Pedreguer, in the Marina Alta. In the beginning, the company was focused on the production of slushies and horchatas, and in 2005, Eurorefresc Granizados S.L was established, introducing new products to the market, so The name Helados Palacio arises.

Our teacher is a university expert in artisanal ice cream making. This title was awarded by the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Bromatology of the University of Alicante. Thanks to his formation, Helados Palacios is defined as Mediterranean artisan ice cream , since the essential characteristics of ice cream are its creaminess and manufacture with natural products from the Mediterranean basin . Thanks to the constant research of the entire team that makes up the Helados Palacio factory, the ice cream obtains a perfect balance in its structure and immediately has an impact on the palate of customers, who can check its creamy quality and intense flavor.

The Helados Palacio factory is located in the town of Pedreguer, the same place where it all began. From here, it is manufactured and distributed to ice cream parlors, restaurants and salons throughout the Valencian Community and the rest of Spain, being a reference in the sector, and bringing the excellence of its products to the entire territory. .
